I will be talking about writing historical fiction at the Parisot Literary Festival in southern France in the autumn. The festival runs 10-12 October 2014. I will discuss researching and writing Almodis: The Peaceweaver (Impress Books, 2011) and Viking Hostage (forthcoming) which are both largely set in southern France (Toulouse and Limoges) and have central characters based on real medieval female lords.
