I am giving the keynote presentation and facilitating a Long Table discussion in a symposium at the Baltic Centre in Gateshead on the work of American artist Lorna Simpson. The symposium accompanies an exhibition of Simpson’s work. My paper is entitled ‘Lorna Simpson’s Conundrums’. Other presenters include Christine Borland, Volker Straub, Richard Kotter and Sally Madge. Performances by Adura Onashile, Jane Arnfield, Sandra Johnston, Alastair Maclennan and Selina Thompson.
